  • Pastoral conference - great feedback from parents

    Published 24/03/16, by Admin

50 or so parents attenda our pastoral conference yesterday evening where invited speakers facitltated dicusssion about some very sensitive subjects. Here's a sample of the feedback:

    "Dear Mr Topping

I have just got home after the pastoral care conference held at school this evening and wanted to drop you a quick note to say what an excellent evening it was.

All of the speakers were really interesting and informative and handled some delicate and worrying issues extremely well. The sessions were pitched just right and gave us some 'taster' information but also lots of pointers on where to go to find out more

Several of your staff were at the event and I know that organising and attending events like this is discretionary and in addition to their usual duties and tonight will have been on top of a long day at school, so I just wanted to say how much we appreciate what you and your staff do. Yet again this evening I was reminded how fortunate we are that our children attend such a fantastic school. Thank you all so much"
