South is an over-subscribed 13-18 High School which produces results well above county and national averages. It is situated in a well-resourced and attractive environment. Owing to the popularity of the school we moved to a new £25 million campus in September 2007.

South Bromsgrove High is a co-education community school with a proud heritage and exciting future plans. We constantly strive to make the school a challenging and caring community in which the individual student is expected to develop his/her potential to the full.  High standards of work, appearance and behaviour are required at all times.

Our school is in receipt of numerous national awards; Sportsmark Award; Basic Skills Award; Schools Curriculum Award 2000; Leading Aspect Award; Charter Mark; Investors in People; Arts Mark Gold (awarded 3 times); ICT Mark; Careers Quality; and twice awarded the School Achievement Award. These together with Technology College status keep the School at the forefront of developments.

We are also one of the country’s largest awarding centres for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Naturally we are very honoured by these accolades and feel extremely proud of the school’s academic, sporting and cultural achievements.
