Year 10 & 11 This course (BTEC First Diploma in Engineering) will provide you with a broad foundation of practical and theoretical knowledge from which progression can be made into any engineering sector. Engineering is all about problem solving and communication, and you will be able develop these skills over the 2 years through a variety of subject matter from CAD to casting. The course is 100% course work; this means there are lots of assignments to be completed and lots of learning opportunities for which the reward is four GCSE equivalents at passing.
