At Key Stage 4 the majority of students will continue their study of the language chosen in Year 9. At this point, however, we strongly recommend that those students with an aptitude for language or with an interest in pursuing a career involving languages should choose an additional language.
We maintain the same approach to language learning as in KS3 whilst ensuring that the students are thoroughly and carefully prepared to meet the demands of the GCSE and other alternatively accredited qualifications.
