Year 10 & 11
The plan is to enable all students to complete their GCSE early, either at the end of year 10 or in the January of year 11. During this time, students will usually take one module and then prepare for the terminal examination at the end of the course.
In year 11, students may go on to do more challenging modules to improve their GCSE grade or follow other courses, which aim to extend their knowledge and skills.  Some students go on to start A level modules, or study the Free Standing Unit in Additional Maths.  Others go on to do Functional Skills or the Adult Numeracy courses, both of which lead to worthwhile, recognised qualifications.  In year 11 all students take a short in-house course in financial awareness, which aims to develop some important money management skills.
