Sixth Form

This takes two forms: being an aware, considerate and active part of our school and wider community, first of all.  Secondly, participating and learning from our Citizenship lessons which are part of the enrichment curriculum, taught by all our tutors.  These lessons are concerned with essential citizenship themes: rights, responsibilities, society, religion, government, Europe, law and order, and surviving life after school!  The themes also aim to build on the learning done by students in Years 9 to 11.
Each unit of content has a 4-lesson duration – with a dedicated teacher.  Then, all move on to the next unit, and another teacher.  Plenty of variety.   Plenty of opportunity for engagement.  In the end, Citizenship is probably the most important thing any of us learn.
