Become an SLE

Are you an outstanding middle or senior leader?   Are you ready to develop your leadership portfolio?

What is an SLE?

Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) are outstanding middle or senior leaders (with a minimum of two years’ experience in leadership) who offer their skills and support to teachers or departments in other schools.  SLEs have an opportunity to develop their skills and teaching portfolio by experiencing different school environments, problem solving, developing innovative practice and implementing strategies and systems that will benefit both their own school and schools within their alliance.

Professional Learning Updates

Our SLEs benefit from regular meet-ups to facilitate networking and to provide useful training and development.  Our SLEs also receive our monthly Professional Learning Update, which provides details of new and upcoming developments in the field of education, relevant to both primary and secondary.  You can download the latest copy of our March PLU below.
